Stretches

A calf strain has kept me from running as much as would have liked, especially in August.

I'm not going to lie you. I don't LOVE stretching. I've made the effort and time however, in my rehab to get my body ready for running Disney in January.

These are just three of the stretches I do post run for the calf and piriformis. I stretch my hamstrings, quads, and IT band as well.

What are your favorite stretches?

I'm such a lazy stretcher that I probably stretch my calves the most. But my favorite is one that gets my IT, where while sitting you cross your leg over and pull the knee in. It helps stretch my back too.
