Aw, sorry to hear about your calf. Hope it's starting to feel better! Did you do the usual icing & ibuprofen routine?

A wise decision to stop running; you've obviously gone through these experiences enough times to know that it's best to take the long-range view of your training. Hopefully, you'll be on the mend soon; I'm sure you'll get out there & accomplish those 13 miles very shortly.

BTW, I just wanted to say that I love how you post videocasts on your blog. It's a great way to personalize the experience for your readers. Bravo!

We all have bad days, unfortunately. I had one today. All I can say is... tomorrow will be better!
